Grand Rapids OCD Progress Group
Support group meets weekly on Thursdays at 6:30pm. Group time is divided into 3 segments: Struggles (feelings, hurts, losses), Successes (progress, discoveries, new information we have learned), and Goals (what we will be working on this week). OCD is a genetically-inherited chronic brain and nervous system disorder. We can improve the functioning of our brain by changing our behavior. Change is much easier to accomplish for us when we have outside support such as from a group of like-minded people. Our group is friendly and welcoming yet we also encourage strength in each individual. Group time and attention are shared equally among members.
