Our team is composed of professionals from various disciplines, including psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and school psychologists, allowing for integrated case formulation and collaborative treatment planning.
We offer an interdisciplinary approach, including standardized assessment, diagnosis, and treatment (evidence-based psychotherapy and psychopharmacotherapy when indicated)
90 % of our practice is for OCD, Tourette’s Syndrome, and Related Disorders since 2002 up to now. We are a center of reference in these conditions and receive patients from neurologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and school psychologists

Tratamiento de trastornos concomitantes:
I have been Director of CITA, an interdisciplinary team, since 2002 up to now. Our center takes an interdisciplinary approach to the assessment and treatment of Tourette Syndrome, OCD, and related disorders, including commonly co-occurring conditions such as anxiety disorders, ADHD, ODD, Impulse control, autism spectrum conditions, and learning disorders. Each patient is evaluated through a comprehensive intake process, which includes standardized assessment through a series of clinical interviews and input from caregivers and schools. Based on the results, an individualized treatment plan is developed
Descripción de capacitación:
I am the Director of CITA, a child and adult psychiatrist and contextual therapist. I founded CITA in 2002. I coordinated the first Argentine Multidisciplinary team on Tourette Syndrome (TS) and related disorders in Buenos Aires ( 1999 – 2011). Since 1999, I have coordinated four TS, OCD, and related disorder clinics in Bs As, respectively, in the Hospital Frances, at Favaloro University, INECO, and CITA. We have also participated in clinical research since 2008, when I started a close professional relationship with Barbara Coffey, Carol Mathews, and other TS experts. Residents come to CITA to train in OCD& TS.

I am IP at several cross-cultural studies, such as TRANSITION, GCHAMHS studies ( Directed by A Sourander), and the LATINO study ( Directed by E. Storch& J Crowley), with several CITA psychiatrists and psychologists participating in them. This has given us experience in multicultural diversity.
We are dedicated to promoting mental health equity in Latin America, recognizing the need for culturally sensitive care and accessible resources. We aim to bridge the gap in access to information and care, particularly for populations that may be underserved due to language barriers.
