Description:

We provide treatment programs and services in English and Spanish, including neuropsychological assessment, parent and family guidance, nutritional counseling, clinical behavioral analysis, and executive functioning training services. NBI treats children, teens, and adults.

NBI Coral Gables has an Outpatient (OP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) which is staffed by clinicians trained in the treatment of OCD and Anxiety-Related Disorders. Many of our patients have difficult-to-treat symptoms due to challenging comorbidities or other clinical complexities. We work closely with outside providers regarding medication management and medical issues.

NBI staff collaborate with patients and families as a true clinical team from admission to discharge. Treatment plans are highly individualized while maintaining fidelity to the principles of evidence-based practice (EBP). NBI is highly experienced in providing services to individuals from diverse geographical locations and cultures – we treat many out-of-state and international patients. NBI is recognized as an exempt Health Care Clinic by the State of Florida. NBI is a private pay facility. Upon request, we can provide a superbill for services rendered that patients and families can elect to submit to their insurance company.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

The major treatment used at NBI is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which is supported by psychological and neuroscience research. We treat a wide range of conditions such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and OCD-related conditions, Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infection (PANDAS), Social Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Tic Disorders and Tourette Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), depression, and personality disorders. We also specialize in young adult failure to launch.

Diversity Statement:

We treat patients of all diverse backgrounds and ages, and understand that no two cases can be handled the same. Every individual and family experiences these difficulties differently, and we take the time to understand our patients and their circumstances as much as possible when determining the best course of action for treatment.

Our clinicians have diverse backgrounds, and many speak more than one language, affording us the ability to provide services in Spanish or English.
