Dr. Cabrera provides specialized, individualized telehealth sessions using evidence-based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Throughout his clinical career, he has treated numerous individuals across all OCD subtypes, including contamination, harm, scrupulosity, sexual orientation, relationship, and «just right» presentations. Dr. Cabrera’s practice emphasizes accessible, expert care that helps clients reclaim their lives from OCD through compassionate, research-informed treatment.
Tratamiento de trastornos concomitantes:
Dr. Alberto Cabrera integrates evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs when treating co-occurring anxiety disorders alongside OCD. Treatment primarily focuses on OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while addressing comorbid anxiety through cognitive-behavioral interventions and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Cabrera assesses how anxiety symptoms interact with OCD and develops comprehensive treatment plans that target both conditions without reinforcing compulsions or safety behaviors. Sessions maintain a strong ERP foundation while incorporating anxiety management strategies that support overall functioning and quality of life.
