Therapy services available include: individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy. Teletherapy is also available as well as home visits. The majority (60%) of my practice focuses on the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD as well as other OC related disorders. I also treat many individuals whom also present with eating and body image concerns.

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida specializing in the treatment of OCD and related conditions. My training background is in Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention and I have been in practice for many years. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with other IOCDF members and present at the national conference. I completed by post-doctoral training and firs years in practice at an OCD specialty clinic working with individuals (children to older adults) whom also presented with comorbid conditions. I specialize in the area of comorbid presentations of OCD and Eating Disorders.

I was born in Bogota, Colombia and Spanish is my first language. Throughout my education and training while living in South Florida, I had the opportunity to work with multicultural populations, providing services in both English and Spanish Languages. I have also worked with the LGBT population as well as with individuals from various religious backgrounds, ethnicities and nationalities.I understand the importance of exploring my patient’s culture when working with them, and having a better understanding of the building blocks of what makes them who they are.
