Narrativa de Servicios:

At Individual and Family Connection (IFC), I provide specialized therapy for children and teens with OCD and anxiety-related disorders. A significant portion of my caseload is dedicated to helping kids and families break free from intrusive thoughts and compulsions. I work closely with parents to develop strategies that support their child’s progress at home. My background in intensive pediatric OCD treatment has prepared me to address a wide range of OCD symptoms and challenges.

Descripción de capacitación:

I specialize in working with children and teens struggling with OCD and anxiety-related disorders. I completed my graduate training at Chatham University and my internship at the Pediatric OCD Intensive Outpatient Program at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital – Children’s Pine Center. There, I worked closely with families to provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. I am now a therapist at Individual and Family Connection (IFC), where I support children and parents in navigating OCD with evidence-based, family-centered care. My goal is to empower families with tools to help their children regain confidence and resilience.

Declaración de diversidad:

I strive to create an inclusive and culturally competent therapy environment for diverse populations. My clinical experience includes working with children and families from various racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am committed to ensuring equitable access to evidence-based OCD treatment and tailoring interventions to meet the unique cultural and individual needs of my clients.

My training includes cultural competency education, and I have worked with children and families from a wide range of backgrounds. I have specific experience working with neurodiverse children, including those with autism, ADHD, and developmental differences. At IFC, I continue to receive training on culturally responsive care to ensure every family feels supported and respected in their OCD treatment journey.
