Narrativa de Servicios:
Our practice provides outpatient mental health services with a primary focus on OCD and related disorders. Approximately 80% of our clinical work is dedicated to treating individuals with OCD and anxiety-related conditions. We have treated a substantial number of individuals with OCD and related disorders using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Tratamiento de trastornos concomitantes:
I treat co-occurring disorders using an integrated, evidence-based treatment model. Conditions such as OCD, anxiety disorders, ADD/ADHD, mood disorders, and eating disorders are addressed simultaneously through individualized treatment plans. Evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, DBT-informed strategies, and behavioral interventions are utilized based on client needs. Care is coordinated, when appropriate, and may include individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and skills-based interventions. Of course, there is ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatment support symptom management and functional improvement.
Descripción de capacitación:
I have four years of clinical experience with a primary focus on treating OCD and OCD spectrum disorders. My training includes numerous specialized trainings and workshops in evidence-based approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I regularly engage in continuing education to ensure adherence to current best practices in the treatment of OCD and related disorders
Declaración de diversidad:
As a Mexican American clinician, I bring lived cultural awareness to my work with multicultural populations. I serve a diverse client base across racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender identity, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My clinical approach is culturally responsive and trauma-informed, with attention to how cultural values, family dynamics, immigration-related stressors, and systemic factors may impact symptom presentation and treatment engagement. I adapt evidence-based interventions as needed to provide culturally sensitive and accessible care and engage in ongoing training to support inclusive practice.
I integrate culturally responsive approaches into evidence-based interventions, attending to how cultural values, family dynamics, immigration-related stressors, and systemic factors influence symptom presentation and treatment engagement. I engage in ongoing education and self-reflection to ensure equitable, accessible, and respectful care for all clients.
