Narrativa de Servicios:

I have nine years of specialized experience treating OCD and OC-Related Disorders in adults, having worked with over 400 individuals. Approximately 85% of my practice is OCD, with most clients presenting with co-occurring trauma, Eating Disorders, or Neurodivergence. I use evidence-based, exposure-focused treatment integrated with ACT and mindfulness. Our clinic also offers TMS as an adjunct support. When indicated and requested, I incorporate family or partner support as part of the treatment process.

Tratamiento de trastornos concomitantes:

I specialize in treating OCD alongside co-occurring PTSD, Eating Disorders, and Neurodivergence using exposure-based therapies including CPT, WET, and Prolonged Exposure. I incorporate ACT to build psychological flexibility and mindfulness to support present-moment awareness. A guiding principal in my work is client choice and agency — I believe healing happens when people feel empowered and informed throughout their own process. Psychoeducation is central to how I work, because informed clients engage more fully and reclaim ownership of their recovery.

Descripción de capacitación:

My OCD training began under a Senior Provider and Research Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. I have received supervision from senior faculty at BTTI and ongoing mentorship from an instructor at Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital spanning over three years. I attend approximately three OCD-focused conferences annually since 2019 and complete four additional workshops each year. Since 2022, I have lectured on OCD as part of my professional contributions to the field.

Declaración de diversidad:

I provide treatment in both English and Spanish and am located in South Texas, where my practice serves a largely Latino/a community. Cultural context is woven into how I approach OCD and trauma treatment. Since 2022, I have lectured annually on multicultural considerations in OCD and trauma.

I am consistently engaged in cultural competency both as a trainer and a learner. I provide training on culturally responsive care and am an active member of the Multicultural Behavioral Health Professional Network, participating in monthly professional development. This is an ongoing and active part of my clinical and professional identity, not a one-time credential.
