Around one third of the clients in my practice are in treatment for OCD, many with co-occurring conditions. I also work with clients with a variety of concerns including anxiety disorders, perinatal mental health, depression, life transitions, trauma, interpersonal concerns, and complex medical issues.
I utilize a variety of modalities including CBT, ERP, ACT, and mindfulness to treat OCD and co-occurring conditions. I focus on thorough assessment to differentiate between symptoms of OCD and other conditions. Treatment involves a relational, collaborative approach and ongoing monitoring of co-occurring conditions.
I graduated from Boston College with my Masters in Social Work in 2012. I have extensive experience as an outpatient therapist in community mental health settings and private practice. I completed the Pediatric BTTI training through IOCDF and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder through the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy. I am also trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
I have experience working with diverse populations, including immigrants, Spanish speakers and LGBTQ+ communities.
