Dr. Taboas primarily sees patients with a primary anxiety disorder and/or OCD. He has more than 9 years training in helping people with OCD, anxiety, and depression.
Dr. William R. Taboas is currently a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing psychotherapy to children and adults in the San Diego area. He received ERP training at Fordham University. Dr. Taboas is a former Postdoctoral Research Fellow at San Diego State University conducting translational research on Anxiety Disorders and OCD. Dr. Taboas specializes in empirically supported treatments for OCD, Social Phobia, Specific Phobia, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. The main focus of his clinical practice is weekly and intensive Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) treatment for OCD.
