Building Blocks: Intermediate ERP Training for OCD

Anxiety Institute is pleased to offer Building Blocks: Intermediate ERP Training for OCD, a 4-part series starting November 2, 2023.

This webinar is for psychologists, social workers, and related professionals to learn more advanced practical applications in treating OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) while incorporating Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) into ERP.

The course is led by Anxiety Institute’s Director of Training, Stacey Dobrinsky, PhD, a founding faculty member of the McLean OCD Institute for Children and Adolescent program (OCD Jr.). The Building Blocks course content focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and intervention of OCD, using empirically supported methods and highlighting specific strategies to use in real time therapy sessions.

Learning objectives:

  • Be able to provide psychoeducation and engage families in treatment
  • Learn the differences between habituation and inhibitory learning and how to implement them in your practice immediately
  • Learn how ACT fits into the ERP model and how to integrate ACT principles into practice
Ideal for those who have taken the initial ERP Foundations course, and for those with basic knowledge of ERP, who wish to solidify and refine their skills for further implementation. The course design accommodates varying skill levels and learning styles, and will be interactive in nature.

This convenient course will be formatted as four weekly 60-minute live training zoom sessions including time for questions and discussion. The sessions will be given on the following Thursdays from 12-1:00pm EST:
