Join us for our first-ever Kansas Community Event for individuals with OCD, families, and OCD therapists!

The event will feature four speakers with OCD lived experience. The goal of OCD Gamechangers community events are to bring individuals together who live with OCD, families, and therapists to create community and help individuals feel less alone.

Speakers:

Michael Schramm, OCD Advocate
Michael has battled OCD since he was a young child, and uses his
advocacy to share his experiences with others going through their own
journeys. He is a member of the OCD Kansas Board.

Amanda Petrik-Gardner, LCPC, LPC
Amanda is an OCD specialist with lived experience. She has dedicated her life to treating
individuals with OCD, advocating for the diagnosis and treatment of OCD, and currently serves
on the board of OCD Kansas.

Shauna Meier, LSCSW
Shauna had decades of lived experience with OCD before deciding to become a therapist. She
is passionate in her advocacy and work as a therapist to help those suffering with OCD, and
other mental health challenges, by providing compassion, hope, and healing on their journey to
recovery. Shauna has served on the OCD Kansas board, co-presented at the 2022 IOCDF
Conference, worked as a therapist for NOCD, and currently is in private practice providing
online therapy across the state of Kansas.

Krista Reed, LSCSW
Krista Reed is an OCD Clinician, a parent of a child with OCD, an IOCDF Advocate, and is
someone with OCD. Krista is passionate about the Wichita area and founded the grassroots
group, ICT OCD Alliance, in order for local people to find services more effectively.
