Description:

OCD Action is a national UK charity focusing on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders.
We provide support and information to anybody affected by OCD, work to raise awareness of the disorder amongst the public and front-line healthcare workers, and strive to secure a better deal for people with OCD. We are a dedicated charity with a clear vision, solid objectives and a real understanding of OCD and the impact that it has.

Our vision is for a society where OCD is better understood and diagnosed quickly, where appropriate treatment options are open and accessible, where support and information are readily available and where nobody feels ashamed to ask for help.

OCD Action provides a number of vital services for people affected by OCD and related disorders, and their family, friends and carers.

Helpline: This is a support and information phone and email service for people affected by OCD (including friends and family). The Helpline provides a ‘Next Steps’ service which supports people whilst they are undergoing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
OCD Youth: OCD Youth is a project run by young people with OCD, which supports those under 25 who are affected by OCD or related disorders. The service offers an e-Helpline, meet-ups in person and online, a website, peer support Forum, and information via social media.
Advocacy Service:
The Charity’s Advocacy for OCD Service is an issue based service which helps people access treatment, secure housing, stay in employment and turn their lives around.
Even Better Together Project:
This project supports a network of independent support groups across
