Description:

Our group is for people with a clinical diagnosis of OCD who are steadfast in their determination to put in the work and live in a state of recovery. You can expect empathy, compassion, and a sharing of resources and strategies. You can expect a safe space free of judgment, and the opportunity to share your experiences. You can expect support, camaraderie, and the visceral feeling of being understood by people who truly get it. You can expect a unique, shared laughter not found anywhere else — the kind that comes from being in a room with people who truly understand the OCD journey.

Do not expect reassurance. Do not expect a replacement for ERP therapy in a professional setting. Do not expect a panacea. This group is effective only as a supplement to ERP therapy and other therapeutic work.

A brief (~15 minute) pre-screening phone call with the Group Leader is required to ensure this group is a good fit for you and for the group as a whole. This group is intended for individuals with OCD. For those without OCD who would like to learn more — for example, if you suspect a friend or family member may be struggling — please feel free to reach out, and the Group Leader can connect with you.
