Narrative of Services:

My practice specializes in evidence-based treatment for OCD and related disorders across children, adolescents, and adults, with OCD comprising the majority of my caseload. Since specializing in OCD treatment in 2019, I have treated more than 150 individuals with OCD and related presentations and supervised or consulted on many more, including complex and co-occurring cases. Services include ERP, ACT-informed treatment, and family-focused interventions, including SPACE and the Family Wellbeing Approach. I have particular expertise in pediatric OCD, neuroaffirming OCD treatment for autistic and ADHD/AuDHD clients, and helping families reduce accommodation while supporting developmentally appropriate functioning and independence.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat co-occurring ADHD, autism/AuDHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and body-focused repetitive behaviors alongside OCD. Treatment is individualized and may integrate ERP, ACT, CBT, and neuroaffirming approaches. Careful functional assessment helps distinguish OCD from neurodivergent traits, sensory needs, trauma responses, and other concerns so treatment targets the appropriate mechanisms. I also provide family-focused treatment using SPACE and the Family Wellbeing Approach, particularly when accommodation, dependence, or family patterns are contributing to impairment. Treatment may involve the individual, parents/caregivers, or family system depending on developmental needs and treatment goals.

Training Description:

I have specialized in OCD treatment since 2019 and have completed extensive training in ERP, ACT-informed ERP, pediatric OCD, SPACE, and treatment of complex and co-occurring presentations. My training has included advanced workshops, intensive continuing education, and ongoing consultation with senior OCD specialists, including clinicians affiliated with leading OCD treatment and research programs. I have continued advanced study in neuroaffirming adaptations of ERP for autistic and ADHD/AuDHD clients and family-based interventions. In addition to treating OCD across the lifespan, I provide OCD-focused supervision, consultation, and training to clinicians developing or advancing their expertise in ERP and complex OCD treatment.

Diversity Statement:

My practice serves clients with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, socioeconomic, gender, sexual, and neurodevelopmental identities. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodiversity-affirming care and consider how culture, identity, family context, systemic inequities, and lived experience may influence OCD presentation, symptom meaning, treatment engagement, and family responses. I aim to practice with cultural humility and adapt treatment collaboratively rather than assuming a single approach fits all clients. When working with neurodivergent clients, I distinguish OCD-related impairment from authentic autistic, ADHD/AuDHD, sensory, and communication differences so treatment does not unnecessarily target or pathologize neurodivergent traits.

My clinical training and experience have included ongoing education in culturally responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming care. I have worked with clients across diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, socioeconomic, gender, sexual, and neurodevelopmental identities in community mental health, group practice, and private practice settings. My ongoing professional development includes training and consultation focused on adapting evidence-based OCD treatment for autistic, ADHD/AuDHD, and other neurodivergent clients. I approach cultural competency as an ongoing process and incorporate cultural humility, attention to intersectionality, and consideration of systemic and contextual factors into assessment, case formulation, and treatment.
