Narrative of Services:
I treat individuals age 15+ dealing with OCD, panic, phobias, depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety, addiction, relationship distress, existential distress, and insomnia. Approximately 20% of my patients have OCD.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Panic, PTSD, addiction, chronic worry, and depression are treated if concurrent with OCD using mindfulness/acceptance framed CBT.
Training Description:
I have been a licensed Georgia psychologist since 2007 when I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University, and I have been one of less than 5% of psychologists who are board certified since 2015. Prior to this I completed a predoctoral internship at Emory and received my Ph.D. from Texas A&M. Over the past 15+ years I have worked in private practice and VA PTSD clinic settings, treating individuals experiencing conditions including PTSD, insomnia, addiction, depression, bipolar disorder, phobias, panic disorder, OCD, relational distress, loss of meaning/purpose, and generalized anxiety disorder.
Diversity Statement:
Our practice is located in the heart of Atlanta and we are happy to treat the variety of cultures, colors, sexualities, and genders that enrich our city. We are an immigrant-friendly and LGBTQ+ affirming practice.
