Narrative of Services:
I predominantly work with adults with OCD and anxiety using a CBT lens, especially using exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, mindfulness, and self-compassion. About 50-60% of the people I work with have OCD, while about 90% identify as having some kind of anxiety, including generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, perfectionism, and phobias. My clients also sometimes present with depression, ADHD, autism, and sleep difficulties.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I typically see people once per week for a 45-minute session, but this is flexible depending on their level of distress/impairment (most importantly), preference, and availability.
Training Description:
I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in cognitive behavioral therapy in 2016. I then worked in a private group practice for 5 years that specialized in CBT, especially for anxiety and OCD. While there, I received consistent supervision and tailored training towards ERP and ACT specifically. Since choosing to specialize in this area, a large bulk of my continuing education credits and trainings have focused on OCD, ERP, ACT, etc. In 2021, I began my own private practice with a focus on working with adults with anxiety and OCD.
