I provide therapy for adults across New York State struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic stress/ burnout, body-image/ eating concerns, perfectionism, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs). I also specialize in supporting neurodivergent adults with ADHD, autism, giftedness, and twice-exceptionality (2e). My approach is compassionate and personalized, helping individuals develop coping tools that fit their lives and foster balance, meaning, and values-based fulfillment. I offer evidence-based interventions, including the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), to support emotional resilience.
I provide individual therapy blending Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion, and the Polyvagal Theory to help client regulate their nervous system to manage intrusive thoughts and distracting physical sensations.
I have been working with OCD Spectrum Disorders and the many co-occurring disorders since my doctoral training in psychology. Early in my private practice career, I realized there was a high need for more treatment providers who understood BFRBs and I completed training in the Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment of BFRBs (ComB) through the TLC Foundation for BFRB. I integrate the ComB model into my work helping individuals with BFRBs.
I engage in ongoing continuing education trainings related to cultural competency and multicultural populations. I approach my work through honoring the intersectionality of clients’ identities and lived experiences that are impacted by systems of oppression and privilege.
