I work primarily with adults, teens, and children with anxiety and/or OCD, as well as people with mood disorders.
In addition to OCD focused treatments, I use person-centered approaches that help clients develop a better understanding of their strengths and capabilities. Because therapy is different for each individual, I use an approach that draws from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), CBT, trauma-informed care, systems theory, and attachment theory. I strive to create therapeutic relationships that feel warm and welcoming so clients feel empowered to learn, grow, and reach their goals.
I have completed training in I-CBT from the OCD Training School and have continued to pursue training and consultation in I-CBT. I have also completed training in ERP with the Center for the Study and Treatment of Anxiety.
As a clinical social worker and community volunteer, I have sought out trainings and opportunities to work with people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds.
