My practice is heavily specialized in evidence-based care, with approximately 80% of services dedicated explicitly to the treatment of OCD and related anxiety disorders. Over the past year of intensive specialization, I have successfully guided approximately 40 individuals through navigating OCD and comorbid anxiety conditions. Treatment is highly structured and utilizes proven modalities like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
My treatment approach is rooted in evidence-based modalities to address both OCD and co-occurring mood or anxiety disorders. For OCD, I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients gradually face anxiety triggers without relying on safety behaviors or compulsions. To address comorbid depression or mood-related difficulties, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Activation. I take a collaborative, skills-based approach that focuses on practical, day-to-day strategies rather than traditional talk therapy alone. Together, we work to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, reduce avoidance behaviors, and reconnect with meaningful, values-driven activities.
I am a fully licensed therapist with eight years of clinical practice experience, dedicating the past year to intensive specialization in OCD and related disorders. My specialized training was completed through NOCD Academy. This training involved coursework and structured clinical experience managing focused OCD caseloads.
My training has included coursework and continuing education focused on multicultural counseling, cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and inclusive clinical practice. I have experience working with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, age groups, and life experiences.
