Owner
My practice provides evidence-based treatment for OCD, anxiety disorders, trauma, and related conditions. Approximately 30% of my current caseload consists of individuals with OCD or OCD spectrum disorders. I have treated dozens of individuals experiencing harm, relationship, sexual, perinatal, responsibility, contamination, and scrupulosity-themed OCD, as well as related disorders. I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as the primary treatment approach, integrating CBT, ACT, and DBT when clinically appropriate. Services include comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning, psychoeducation, structured exposure exercises, and relapse prevention.
When treating clients with co-occurring anxiety disorders, I prioritize ERP as the primary intervention for OCD while addressing anxiety using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and DBT skills. Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment to differentiate OCD symptoms from other anxiety processes and identify how they interact. I develop an individualized treatment plan that includes psychoeducation, cognitive and behavioral interventions, emotion regulation skills, and structured exposure exercises. Progress is monitored regularly, with treatment adjusted as symptoms improve to ensure both OCD and co-occurring anxiety are addressed without reinforcing avoidance or compulsive behaviors.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 7 years of clinical experience, including the past 2 years specializing in the treatment of OCD and OCD spectrum disorders. I completed the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and continue to pursue advanced OCD-specific education. I utilize ERP, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I receive ongoing consultation and supervision with experienced OCD clinicians affiliated with recognized institutions and regularly treat intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and OCD spectrum presentations using structured exposure hierarchies, imaginal exposures, and relapse prevention.
