Narrative of Services:

I treat OCD using Exposure Response Prevention and adjunctive Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have treated over 50 individuals with OCD so far in my career, and the majority of my current caseload is comprised of individuals who suffer from OCD.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I use ACT, CBT, and DBT to manage co-occurring conditions either before beginning ERP or conjointly while doing ERP.

Training Description:

I am a clinical psychologist with over seven years of experience treating individuals with OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders. I completed my PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Yale Health – Mental Health and Counseling department and was employed as a staff psychologist there for five years. I also worked part-time at the New England OCD Institute for two years. Currently, I work at Alliance Clinical Associates, a group practice in Illinois. I have completed advanced training in OCD and ERP through the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI).

Diversity Statement:

I have specific training and experience working with individuals who consider faith and spirituality important parts of their identity. I have extensive experience treating individuals with religious / moral scrupulosity and am particularly passionate about serving those individuals whose OCD becomes entwined with their faith commitments. I will work to honor and value your religious convictions while helping disentangle these from OCD.

I have extensive experience in working with individuals of many different cultural backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I welcome all individuals into my practice, regardless of background, and look forward to learning about your identity and story with curiosity, hospitality, and humility.
