Narrative of Services:
In my private practice, I offer evidence-based therapies for treatment of OCD and related disorders in an outpatient setting. Approximately 30% of my clinical time is spent working with individuals, and their loved ones, experiencing OCD or a related disorder.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I provide evidence-based treatments for co-occurring disorders, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. In collaboration with the client decided whether treatment for co-occurring disorder/s will be integrated or parrallel.
Training Description:
I earned a Master in Social Health and Counselling from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia in 2005. I completed my post-masters training and worked as a senior therapist at a National Specialist Service for severe, treatment-resistant OCD and BDD, directed by a highly regarded British psychiatrist at The Priory Hospital North London. Formerly, I was the Director of the OCD and Anxiety Program at Cadence Child & Adolescent Therapy where I taught and provided clinical supervision to clinicians in evidence based therapies for OCD Spectrum Disorders. I have completed the Pediatric Behavior Therapy Training Institute.
Diversity Statement:
My clinical practice has spanned Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, providing care to individuals from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
I am committed to cultural humility and recognize the importance of understanding each client’s unique identity, values, and lived experience. I strive to deliver evidence-based OCD treatment that is culturally responsive, inclusive, and collaborative, adapting care to reduce barriers, promote equity, and ensure clients feel respected, understood, and supported throughout treatment.
