West Suburbs OCD and Mental Health is dedicated to the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related conditions. My current caseload consists entirely of individuals with OCD and related disorders, and I have experience treating children, adolescents, and adults across outpatient, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) settings. I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and integrate CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and self-compassion to provide individualized, evidence-based care that helps clients build confidence and move toward lives guided by their values rather than fear.
I use evidence-based treatments tailored to each client’s needs, with treatment priorities based on the symptoms causing the greatest functional impairment. When OCD co-occurs with anxiety or mood disorders, I integrate ERP with CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions as appropriate, while ensuring treatment remains aligned with each client’s goals and values.
My passion for treating OCD is rooted in both lived experience and specialized clinical training. After experiencing recovery through ERP, I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and completed clinical training through Rogers Behavioral Health. Since beginning my clinical career five years ago, I have dedicated my work to the evidence-based treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders while continuing to pursue specialized training and consultation. I was honored to present at the 2021 IOCDF Annual Conference.
My commitment to culturally responsive care has been shaped by both my clinical training and prior professional experience. During my training at Rogers Behavioral Health, I worked with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the nonprofit sector, helping individuals experiencing homelessness, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and formerly incarcerated individuals obtain employment. These experiences strengthened my commitment to approaching every client with humility, curiosity, compassion, and respect for their unique experiences and identities.
