Narrative of Services:
Approximately 75% of my caseload is made up of clients with OCD and/or Anxiety Disorders.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
When OCD co-occurs with other disorders, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) typically remains the primary focus of treatment. Early sessions would focus on understanding how the disorders interact with and reinforce one another. If needed, treatment may first address symptoms or conditions that could interfere with the effectiveness of ERP. In some cases, ERP may be introduced more gradually or modified to account for the co-occurring condition.
Training Description:
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow with approximately three years of clinical training and experience working with individuals with OCD and related disorders. My experience has primarily been in outpatient private practice settings under the supervision of licensed psychologists with specialized expertise in OCD treatment. I have also had exposure to OCD treatment in an intensive outpatient setting. In addition, I have completed specialized training in OCD and evidence-based treatment approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and continue to receive supervision and consultation in this area.
