Narrative of Services:

Snow Globe Counseling is a telehealth private practice serving adults and teens in Washington and Arizona. I provide specialized OCD treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring the approach to each client’s presentation. I treat a range of OCD subtypes including harm OCD, relationship OCD, moral and religious scrupulosity, “just right” OCD, and Pure O. I also specialize in ADHD and anxiety, with a trauma-informed approach woven throughout all clinical work.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I regularly work with clients whose OCD co-occurs with ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. Treatment is tailored to each client’s full clinical picture. For clients with ADHD, I carefully identify overlapping symptoms and tease apart how ADHD challenges contribute to OCD themes, integrating executive functioning support alongside ERP or I-CBT. For anxiety, ACT and ERP address both presentations simultaneously. For mood disorders, we explore OCD’s impact on daily life, build hope and motivation, and work on changing the client’s relationship with OCD before and during active treatment. The goal is always an integrated approach rather than treating each diagnosis separately.

Training Description:

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW in Washington, LCSW in Arizona) with specialized training in OCD treatment. I have completed 50+ hours of OCD and ERP-focused training through the IOCDF and NOCD, and completed training in Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) through the OCD Training School. I maintain active membership in the IOCDF and pursue ongoing continuing education in evidence-based OCD treatment. I also hold an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) certification through Evergreen Certifications and a Certified Trauma Support Specialist credential through the Arizona Trauma Institute.

Diversity Statement:

I have completed specialized training through PESI focused on affirming care for neurodivergent clients, and am committed to inclusive practice across all areas of my work. I welcome clients of all faith backgrounds and spiritual identities. As a Christian therapist, I have a particular understanding of the intersection of religious belief and OCD, including moral and religious scrupulosity. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and clients of diverse racial and cultural backgrounds. My telehealth practice increases access for clients across Washington and Arizona. I am committed to ongoing education in cultural humility.
