Narrative of Services:

I provide online services for adolescents and adults across Arizona, specializing in OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. 90% of my practice focuses on anxiety, OCD and related disorders. My treatment approach primarily draws on exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I take a collaborative approach helping clients unhook from cycles of intrusive thoughts, doubt, and compulsions so they can live more meaningful lives. I am bilingual in English and Turkish.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Because OCD rarely occurs alone, I also address co-occurring conditions and secondary concerns. I use an integrated approach rather than treating conditions in isolation. I coordinate with psychiatrists, prescribers, and other providers when needed.

Training Description:

I began my training in assessment and evidence-based treatments for OCD and related disorders during my doctoral program at the University of Florida, where I worked in an OCD specialty clinic within the College of Medicine. I then completed a postdoctoral clinical fellowship at the same institution specializing in anxiety, OCD and related disorders. My experience spans multiple levels of care, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient treatment.

Diversity Statement:

My training as a psychologist emphasized that people’s lives are shaped by the contexts they live in and gave me a strong value for advocacy. I have completed graduate coursework in cultural competency and received supervision on multicultural issues throughout my training. I tailor treatment to each client’s identities, culture, and values, and I welcome clients of all backgrounds. I recognize that this is a lifelong journey, and I am committed to continually deepening my cultural competency so I can provide affirming, effective care.
