I am a psychologist with a doctorate in psychology and over 10 years of clinical experience, specializing in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related anxiety disorders. I provide evidence-based treatment for different presentations of OCD, including primarily obsessional OCD (often referred to as “Pure O”), relationship OCD, and other forms involving intrusive thoughts, mental compulsions, and reassurance-seeking. My clinical approach integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a first-line psychological treatment for OCD, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I offer both in-person and online therapy in Spain.
I provide treatment for anxiety disorders and mood disorders that may co-occur with OCD. Treatment is individualized according to each patient’s clinical presentation, needs, and treatment goals. When OCD is the primary concern, treatment focuses on evidence-based OCD interventions, particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Co-occurring symptoms are addressed within an integrated treatment plan, prioritizing the problems that cause the greatest impairment and ensuring that interventions are coordinated and do not reinforce OCD-related avoidance, compulsions, or reassurance-seeking.
I hold a doctorate in psychology and have over 10 years of clinical experience working primarily with people experiencing OCD and anxiety disorders. My clinical practice focuses on evidence-based approaches to OCD, particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have extensive clinical experience working with different OCD presentations, including primarily obsessional OCD (“Pure O”), intrusive thoughts, and mental compulsions. In addition to my clinical practice, I have teaching experience in university settings in Spain, including the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and Universidad Europea.
