McLean Anxiety Mastery Program
- BTTI Trained
MAMP is a nationally sought-after intensive, group-based, outpatient program dedicated to the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD in children, adolescents, and young adults. Our program provides comprehensive assessment and evidence-based treatment in a structured, supportive environment designed to help young people make meaningful progress in a short period of time.
Treatment is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with a strong emphasis on exposure with response prevention (ERP). Through guided exposure exercises, participants learn to face fears, reduce avoidance, and build lasting coping skills that support a return to everyday functioning.
MAMP uses a systems-based approach that addresses the child’s symptoms while also working with the environments that shape daily life. The program includes small-group therapy, parent sessions, psychiatric consultation and medication management, and coordination with each participant’s broader care team, including outpatient providers and school staff members when appropriate.
To meet developmental needs, MAMP offers two specialized tracks — a child track (ages 6-13) and an adolescent track(ages 14-19) — and integrates both in-person an virtual care through a hybrid treatment model.
With its expert clinicians, evidence-based methods, and family-centered approach, MAMP helps young people and their families master OCD and anxiety and reclaim confidence, resilience, and engagement in everyday life.
