Description:

The Nashville OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center was founded in 2018 by Amy Mariaskin, PhD. Having worked in both solo private practice and within a larger institution, she saw the need in the middle TN community for a treatment center dedicated to compassionate care for OCD and related disorders. All therapists at the NOATC have specialty training in the treatment of OCD, anxiety, panic, and BFRBs. Additionally, services are available for hoarding disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, ARFID, autism, oppositional defiant disorder, depression, and ADHD.

We maintain a culture of compassion and confidence in our clients’ abilities to live a valued life regardless of diagnosis, neurotype, race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, culture, or country of origin. Moreover, we believe as a clinic in the importance of the clinical relationship and in engaging in evidence based practice that doesn’t blindly adhere to any one treatment protocol. We want our clients of all ages to feel empowered by therapy and willing to use the tools we provide for a lifetime.

We are currently located in Brentwood and Mt. Juliet to serve children, adolescents, adults, and families affected by OCD and related disorders. Virtual and in-person sessions are offered, and sliding scale or student rates may be available. Group and individual therapy is also available. We serve as a training site for multiple graduate programs, including Vanderbilt University (PhD and MEd programs), Lipscomb University, Middle TN State University, and Belmont University.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Depression, anxiety disorders (separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic, phobias, etc). ADHD, and ARFID commonly co-occur with OCD, and our therapists are trained to treat these concerns as well.
