NeuroBehavioral Institute (NBI)
Our program was established in 1998 as a pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Related Conditions program at the Miami Children’s Hospital Dan Marino Center in Weston, Florida. The program moved to a private setting in 2000, which also allowed for serving adults and establishing our intensive treatment program, and NBI Ranch, our supportive residential setting.
Our Intensive Treatment Program staff is comprised of licensed clinical psychologists who are trained in the treatment of OCD and related conditions. Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Moritz are the Clinical Directors at NBI and are each Board Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology. Combined, they have over 50 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with pre-morbid to severe OCD. Dr. Spielman is the Director of Intensive and Residential Programs (NBI Ranch) at NBI and has almost two decades of treatment experience with OCD and Related Disorders. NBI offers executive functioning support as well as a wide range of assessments and consultation services. Diagnostic psychological and psychoeducational assessments are conducted as part of the program as indicated.
