New England Center for OCD and Anxiety
The New England Center for OCD and Anxiety is a group of specialty clinics in Massachusetts and California that help children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with anxiety, OCD, and related issues find their strengths and learn how to build lives that they love, one step at a time. We provide effective, evidence-based outpatient care for individuals and groups, and offer intensive outpatient treatment. NECOA was founded by Lisa W. Coyne, PhD and Phoebe S. Moore, PhD, licensed Clinical Psychologists. In 2020, they were joined by Evelyn R. Gould, PhD BCBA-D, licensed Psychologist and Behavior Analyst. Together we each bring 20 years experience in clinical practice, training and research to families in Massachusetts and California.
NECOA is a specialty practice focusing on children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with OCD or anxiety and related disorders and issues, including: OCD, anxiety disorders, body dysmorphic disorder, body-focused repetitive behavior disorders, panic disorder, agoraphobia and specific phobias, tic disorders, depression, autism, and disruptive behavior disorders, among others.
We use evidence-based measures for diagnostic and psychoeducational evaluation so that we may carefully tailor a plan of care for you or your child. Once we decide on a treatment strategy tailored to you or your child’s needs, NECOA specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches (EBTs).
