The Center for Emotional Health (CEH) is a multi-site, behavioral healthcare center specialized in the evaluation and evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders, since 2008. With office locations in Cherry Hill and Princeton, NJ, CEH provides on-site services as well as telehealth services across the U.S. under the authority of The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT).

At CEH, outpatient treatment is highly individualized, evidence-based, and focused on the specific needs of each client. After an extensive initial evaluation, CEH clinicians work collaboratively with clients to create a treatment plan tailored to their presenting difficulties. Our primary treatment approaches are therapies falling under cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), including exposure and response prevention (ERP), inference-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (I-CBT), habit reversal training (HRT)/comprehensive behavioral model (ComB)/integrative behavioral therapy (IBT), cognitive behavioral intervention for tics (CBIT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based CBT treatment protocols.

CEH’s Executive Director is on the faculty of IOCDF’s Professional Training Institute and on the Board of Directors of OCD New Jersey, the NJ affiliate of IOCDF. CEH staff clinicians are dedicated to community service and outreach, frequently presenting professional workshops, community education seminars, and at local, state, and national meetings.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

We treat the full range of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders as well as tic disorders and posttraumatic stress disorder. Individualized treatment plans are formulated based on the individual needs of the client, with the most impairing presenting problem addressed at the outset of treatment followed by interventions for co-occurring difficulties.
