OCD New Hampshire will be hosting a Virtual Speaker Series event on Tuesday, January 23rd at 7PM EST: “Pathways to Recovery” – a discussion & Q&A with guest speaker, Jennifer Rose.

Four years ago, Jennifer started treatment at OCDI at McLean Hospital when she was only 22 years old, a few days after she was released from her third hospitalization for severe OCD. Today, Jennifer is a (mostly) happy almost 27-year-old woman who is able to enjoy an enriching life with uncertainty, which she credits not only to sticking with ERP treatment when it was extremely difficult, but by adopting an “ERP” lifestyle. This has allowed her to earn both her bachelors and masters degrees, travel to Scandinavia on her own, and most importantly, grant her peace of mind, something that she only dreamed of in her teens.

Join us for this opportunity to learn from someone with first-hand, lived experience with severe OCD. In addition to sharing her personal story and recovery journey, Jennifer will be sharing tips on preventing full-blown relapses by living an “exposure lifestyle”, living a values-based life as opposed to a fear-based life, and dealing with OCD while also having common co-morbid conditions.

If you or a loved one is struggling with OCD and are seeking hope, you have come to the right place, as one of Jennifer’s core values is to help people. She hopes that by sharing her OCD story, others will feel less alone and inspired to engage in or stick with ERP treatment so they too can live enriching lives.
This event is free to all. We hope to see you there!
