Narrative of Services:
75% of clinic practice is related to anxiety, OCD, and OCD spectrum disorders. Individual and group sessions are offered to pediatric and adolescent patients and parenting support is provided. Afterschool and evening hours are available. In-person and telehealth appointments are available for both therapy and medication management.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Recognize the overlap between anxiety, depression, panic disorders, phobias, PTSD, and OCD as well as the identification of co-occurring substance use disorders as there may be a greater level of impairment in overall psychosocial functioning. Collaborate with therapist trained in OCD to provide CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and consider the addition of medication when necessary to augment the effectiveness of therapy.
Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner experienced in working with pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations struggling with anxiety-related mental health issues.
OCD and Anxiety groups are under the supervision of Jamielyn Roets, LCSW – Board Member for the International OCD Foundation. A free 30-minute phone consultation to discuss services and best fit can be scheduled by visiting flourishpsychology.net.
