Psychiatric Nurse

Narrative of Services:

Dr. Faust, DNP, PMHNP, provides anti-obsessional medication management via telehealth for adults and adolescents with OCD and OC-spectrum conditions. Many patients referred to him were previously prescribed medications that carry no anti-obsessional indication, or received indicated agents at doses too low to produce an anti-obsessional effect. His evidence-based approach includes appropriate anti-obsessional agent selection, dosing, and treatment duration. He uses augmentation with CMI, glutamatergic agents, or antipsychotics when patients do not respond adequately to SSRI-dosing for OCD. He works closely with ERP-providers, and welcomes collaboration with therapists, IOP programs, and residential treatment facilities to support continuity of care.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Dr. Faust manages co-occurring psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, and PTSD. Each patient receives a comprehensive evaluation and a medication plan tailored to their full clinical picture, with ongoing adjustments guided by outcome tracking and patient feedback.

Training Description:

Dr. Faust completed his doctoral training at the University of Arizona, with subsequent clinical experience spanning community mental health, integrative care, and private practice. He founded his OCD-focused telehealth practice in 2022. He maintains active involvement in professional development through attendance at OCD-specific conferences and participation in IOCDF professional communities, with ongoing continuing education concentrated in evidence-based pharmacologic treatment of OCD and related conditions. Is scheduled to attend BTTI training through the IOCDF in October 2026 in Wisconsin.
