Narrative of Services:

I provide psychiatric medication management for adolescents and adults via telehealth, (or in person for TN,) with a focus on evidence-based treatment of OCD and related anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, generalized anxiety, and depressive disorders. A significant portion of my clinical experience and ongoing practice involves individuals with OCD-spectrum conditions and complex anxiety presentations. I have treated numerous individuals with OCD across inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings, integrating pharmacologic strategies with collaborative care alongside therapists utilizing ERP and CBT. My practice also addresses mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and co-occurring conditions with a holistic, individualized approach.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I offer thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care for those experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma-related symptoms. I also support individuals struggling with chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and difficulty maintaining balance in daily life. Treatment is provided remotely for AZ and in person or remotely for GA and centers on a personalized whole person approach to care.

Training Description:

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of experience in outpatient psychiatric practice and more than 10 years of prior emergency medicine experience. My clinical work includes extensive treatment of OCD and OCD-spectrum disorders across inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings, with ongoing management of complex anxiety presentations. I regularly utilize evidence-based pharmacologic strategies in collaboration with therapists providing ERP and CBT. I also maintain ongoing professional development in OCD treatment, including attendance at the International OCD Conference and participation in continuing education focused on anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders.

Diversity Statement:

I provide telehealth psychiatric medication management to adolescents and adults across diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds, primarily serving patients in Arizona and surrounding regions. My practice supports individuals from a wide range of racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural communities, including urban and rural populations. I prioritize culturally responsive, patient-centered care by integrating individual values, beliefs, and lived experiences into treatment planning. I emphasize collaborative decision-making, accessibility through telehealth, and individualized care that respects cultural identity, language differences, and varied perspectives on mental health and treatment.

My clinical training and experience have included working with diverse patient populations across inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient psychiatric settings, where I have treated individuals from a wide range of cultural, socioeconomic, and linguistic backgrounds. I completed graduate-level psychiatric mental health training with an emphasis on holistic, patient-centered care and continue to engage in ongoing continuing education focused on cultural competency, health equity, and reducing disparities in mental health treatment. I incorporate culturally responsive communication, shared decision-making, and individualized treatment planning to ensure care is respectful, accessible, and aligned with each patient’s values and lived experience.
