Narrative of Services:
Anxiety disorders and OCD are my primary areas of focus, and about 70% of the clients I work with have a diagnosis of OCD.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
For co-occurring disorders, I work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy foundation. With regard to co-occurring anxiety disorders, my approach is largely exposure-driven, with Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) interventions utilized where appropriate. I also use Metacognitive Therapy and ACT to help clients struggling with depression and mood disorders.
Training Description:
I have been treating OCD since 2024, and have completed training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), and Metacognitive Therapy (MCT). I participate in ongoing peer consultation with fellow OCD clinicians to continue developing my skills and stay current on the emerging research and best practices.
Diversity Statement:
My current caseload is diverse, with a significant portion of clients identifying as LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and/or members of religious or faith communities. I have experience holding space for the ways these identities intersect with OCD presentations – including scrupulously, identity-focused obsessions and minority stress. I am affirming of all sexual orientations, gender identities, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and faith traditions. I strive to provide culturally responsive care.
