Narrative of Services:
I am a trilingual, trauma-informed clinician providing services in English, Portuguese, and Spanish within a PHP/IOP setting. I work with individuals experiencing OCD and related disorders, anxiety, trauma, depression, and co-occurring mental health challenges. My clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities including ERP, ACT, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions. I facilitate psychoeducational and process-oriented groups focused on emotional regulation, resilience, mindfulness, OCD, trauma, and recovery. My work is grounded in cultural humility, compassion, and person-centered care, supporting clients in building coping skills, psychological flexibility, and meaningful connection throughout the healing process.
Training Description:
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have experience treating individuals with OCD and related disorders within a PHP/IOP setting for the past year. My clinical work includes facilitating OCD-focused groups and supporting clients through evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and mindfulness-based interventions. My training has included graduate-level clinical education, supervision within intensive treatment settings, and ongoing professional development in trauma-informed and culturally responsive mental health care.
Diversity Statement:
As a Brazilian immigrant and trilingual clinician, I work closely with multicultural populations, including immigrants, undocumented individuals, and Latinx communities navigating acculturation stress, trauma, anxiety, OCD, and systemic barriers to care. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in compassion, dignity, and empowerment. I provide services in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and strive to create a safe, inclusive environment where clients feel seen, respected, and understood. My clinical work recognizes the impact of migration, discrimination, family dynamics, and socioeconomic stressors on mental health and healing.
My background includes training and experience in multicultural counseling, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and community-based mental health support. I have worked as a multicultural community health worker, yoga and mindfulness instructor, and clinician supporting Hispanic, Brazilian, immigrant, and underserved populations. I provide services in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and understand the importance of culturally responsive, accessible care. My work focuses on building trust, honoring cultural identity, and recognizing the impact of trauma, migration, discrimination, and systemic barriers on mental health and recovery.

Through individual therapy, group sessions, psychoeducation, and mindfulness practices, clients are supported in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and greater psychological flexibility. Our multidisciplinary approach focuses on healing, resilience, and meaningful recovery while creating a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
