Narrative of Services:

I am an LMSW beginning my clinical practice with a focus on OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. My services include assessment, psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have completed specialized training in OCD and ERP and receive clinical supervision and consultation to support evidence-based treatment. As I continue to build my caseload, I am committed to providing effective, compassionate care for individuals experiencing OCD and anxiety-related concerns.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat co-occurring anxiety and mood disorders using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. Treatment typically includes a comprehensive assessment, psychoeducation, goal setting, and interventions drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) when appropriate, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. Sessions focus on understanding the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, building coping skills, reducing avoidance, improving emotional regulation, and supporting clients in working toward meaningful life goals while managing symptoms effectively.

Training Description:

I am an LMSW with specialized training in the treatment of OCD and related disorders. I have completed advanced training in CBT for Anxiety and OCD and am currently completing training in Evidence-Based Treatment of Trichotillomania and Skin Picking using ACT-Enhanced Behavior Therapy. I also participate in ongoing clinical supervision and consultation focused on evidence-based treatment approaches for OCD and anxiety disorders. Additionally, I am pursuing further specialized training in Rumination-Focused Exposure and Response Prevention (RF-ERP) to enhance my work with individuals experiencing OCD and related conditions.

Diversity Statement:

I am committed to providing culturally responsive, affirming, and inclusive care. Through my clinical training and community-based work, I have worked with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, religious, and cultural backgrounds across the lifespan. I strive to understand how culture, identity, family systems, and lived experiences influence mental health and treatment. My approach emphasizes collaboration, respect, and tailoring evidence-based interventions to meet each client’s unique values, needs, and goals.

My clinical education and training have emphasized cultural humility, self-awareness, and the importance of understanding each client’s unique background and lived experiences. Through my MSSW program, clinical internship, and community-based experiences, I have developed skills in working with diverse populations across different ages, identities, and life circumstances. I focus on understanding how mental health concerns and disorders may present differently across cultural communities, as well as how cultural factors, stigma, resources, and access to treatment can impact a person’s ability to receive care. I strive to provide culturally responsive, individualized, and affirming treatment.
