Narrative of Services:
Lacy has served as a mental health counselor in a multitude of settings including: inpatient psychiatric hospitals, transitional housing facilities for homeless veterans, women’s counseling centers, college counseling centers, and community clinics.
Lacy has experience in treating individuals, couples, veterans, and groups. Her specialties include: distance counseling (Internet (e) -Therapy), group therapy for co-occurring disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, addictions, women’s issues, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, and Borderline Personality Disorder. Lacy’s treatment entails the exploration of problems, thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors using empirical-based modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Relapse Prevention, and Exposure and Response Prevention. Lacy has the natural ability to instill hope and empower clients to achieve their life goals through self-discovery.
