Rebecca Anderson MPsych (Clinical), PhD

The Curtin University OC&RD service provides clinical services, postgraduate training opportunities, and conducts research into the OC&RDs. We provide a free fully-automated OCD treatment for young people with OCD (see www.ocdnotme.com.au). We also provide group and individual therapy for OCD, a dedicated hoarding disorder program, and individual services for the OCD related disorders and problem areas (e.g., perfectionism). Established over 20 years ago, we are the longest running treatment program in Western Australia, and have successfully trained many therapists in OCD specific treatments and contributed to international research.

I have treated OCD since 2003, completing my PhD in Clinical Psychology in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in 2006 under the supervision of an expert in the field. I am a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University and run a University Clinic with an OCD and related disorders focused service. I oversee psychology honours, masters and PhD students and provide supervision and consultation in the treatment of OCRDs. I am also the co-founder of www.ocdnotme.com.au, the world’s first fully automated treatment for youth with OCD.
