30% of my clients are DBT clients and 70% of my clients are on the OCD spectrum. There are about 5-10% of those clients that are dual diagnosis (co-occurring substance use with another mental health disorder like anxiety, depression, etc). I utilize both DBT and ERP skills with all of my clients to promote a healthy and meaningful life.
I am the product of a Caucasian mother and a Hawaiian father, so culture runs deep within me. Because I respect the authenticity of culture and diversity in my own life, I aim to respect and understand others’ cultures by practicing multicultural competence within my practice.
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes
I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist, an intensively trained and adherent dialectical behavioral therapist trained in exposure and response prevention under Annie McCall (for DBT) and Dr. Becky Beaton (for Hypnotherapy & ERP). I have been working with OCD, anxiety, depression, suicidality, impulsivity, and substance use for over five years. I have worked in a variety of atmospheres including wilderness program, substance facility, acute hospital, residential (PRTF) program, and private practice.
