Jonathan Barkin PsyD
Dr. Barkin treats children, teens, and adults. With children and teens, he treats anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention/concentration problems, oppositional behavior, social skills deficits, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and adjustment struggles. With adults, Dr. Barkin has particular expertise treating various anxiety disorders, OCD, attention/concentration problems, mood disorders, and helping people adjust to life changes.
Jonathan Barkin, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 25516) and assistant clinical professor at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Barkin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Denver. Dr. Barkin completed his post-doctoral work at the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Center for OCD and Anxiety. Prior to starting his own practice, Dr. Barkin spent 8 years as a partner at the San Francisco Bay Area Center for Cognitive Therapy. He is co-author of The Relaxation & Stress Reduction Workbook for Teens.
