Meredith provides outpatient individual and family therapy to those with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and many co-occurring disorders. She has treated 100+ clients with OCD and currently enjoys supervising newly licensed clinicians at her group practice, The Anxiety Therapists, LLC. When treating OCD, she regularly draws upon her training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Mindfulness for OCD, Inference-based CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). She is passionate about helping clients get relief and build self-confidence with a slow and steady approach that balances validation and hard work.
Meredith has over a decade of clinical experience working with adolescents, adults and families with OCD. She has completed numerous trainings through the IOCDF, including the BTTI program, NOCD, and locally in St. Louis at the The Center for Mindfulness & CBT and St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI). OCD is Meredith’s specialty and passion and she strives to keep up on the latest research and evidence-based treatments.
Meredith treats clients with OCD who are 15+ and regularly incorporates work with parents, partners, spouses and family members who may want to learn how they can best support their loved one in their treatment goals.
Meredith is committed to providing the best care to her diverse clientele. She regularly receives the latest trainings on how privilege, bias, and stigma impact the client’s lives and wellbeing. She speaks openly about these subjects with clients and tries to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe and affirming of all types of differences. Meredith considers herself a lived experience clinician with neurodivergence and occasionally incorporates self-disclosure judiciously.
