My practice specializes in the assessment and treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), OCD Spectrum Disorders, and anxiety-related conditions. Most individuals I work with are seeking treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders. I utilize evidence-based treatments, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. Services include assessment, psychoeducation, individualized treatment planning, exposure-based interventions, and relapse prevention. I work with a wide range of OCD presentations and co-occurring anxiety disorders, offering structured, collaborative treatment tailored to each client’s symptom patterns, values, and goals while helping them respond differently to anxiety, uncertainty, and fear.
When OCD co-occurs with other anxiety disorders, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as the foundation of treatment while also addressing anxiety symptoms through evidence-based strategies such as behavioral experiments, cognitive flexibility, and building distress tolerance. Treatment is structured, collaborative, and goal-oriented, with weekly sessions focused on developing an individualized exposure hierarchy, practicing exposures both in and between sessions, and reducing avoidance and compulsive behaviors. Because OCD and anxiety often reinforce one another, treatment targets the processes that maintain both conditions, helping clients build confidence in tolerating uncertainty, anxiety, and discomfort while living more fully according to their values.
I am a licensed therapist with over 13 years of clinical experience. I have specialized training in treating OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I completed intensive ERP training through the Cognitive Behavior Institute (CBI), followed by a 32-week certification consultation program involving weekly case review, video-based competency evaluation, and demonstrated proficiency across core ERP treatment domains. I successfully attained CBI’s ERP certification. I also participate in ongoing advanced consultation focused on OCD treatment with an ERP specialist affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania, ensuring continued development of evidence-based OCD treatment skills.
I am committed to providing culturally responsive and inclusive care. I participate in ongoing continuing education and professional training related to cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from a wide range of cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, socioeconomic, gender, and sexual identity backgrounds. I strive to understand each client’s unique lived experiences and cultural context, and I integrate these factors into assessment, case conceptualization, and treatment to ensure care is respectful, affirming, and individualized.
