My practice specializes in OCD and related disorders, including BDD, hoarding, health anxiety, panic, and co-occurring ADHD, tics, anxiety disorders. I currently treat approximately 12 clients with OCD-related conditions, with some seen multiple times weekly using ERP, ACT, and CBT. Previously, at the Bio Behavioral Institute, I provided 25–30 weekly sessions focused primarily on OCD and anxiety disorders. My practice is continuing to grow with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment for OCD spectrum conditions across varying levels of severity.
I provide integrated treatment for OCD, anxiety, and co-occurring conditions such as ADHD. Treatment is tailored to each client’s needs and may include ERP, CBT, behavioral strategies, executive functioning support, emotion regulation skills, and coordination with psychiatrists or other providers when appropriate. Sessions focus on reducing symptoms while improving daily functioning, organization, stress management, and overall quality of life. I also help clients distinguish between overlapping symptoms, so treatment targets the most impairing patterns effectively.
I received specialized training in OCD and related disorders during 4.5 years at the Bio Behavioral Institute as both a postdoctoral fellow and psychologist. I provided ERP, ACT, and CBT for OCD, BDD, anxiety, tic disorders, and related conditions across children, adolescents, and adults, including intensive and outpatient treatment formats. I received supervision from Dr. Sony Khemlani and consultation with Dr. Fugen Neziroglu. I earned my PsyD from Hofstra University’s School-Community Psychology program.
I have experience working with clients across diverse cultural, religious, gender, and age backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ and transgender individuals, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My practice emphasizes culturally responsive, affirming, and individualized care. I work collaboratively to ensure treatment respects each client’s identity, values, family structure, and lived experiences while delivering evidence-based interventions for OCD, anxiety, and related disorders.
My clinical training and practice have included working with clients from diverse cultural, religious, racial, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds across outpatient and intensive treatment settings. I have experience providing affirming care to LGBTQ+ and transgender clients and tailoring evidence-based treatments to clients’ cultural values and identities. My training at Bio Behavioral Institute and Hofstra University emphasized culturally responsive care, collaboration, and individualized treatment planning for clients across the lifespan.
