Jessica Berntson PhD
Dr. Jessica Berntson offers evidence-based psychological services to adults ages 19+. All assessment and treatment services are provided online via secure video. Dr. Berntson provides these services for all forms of OCD and anxiety, while also taking a special interest in health-related anxiety. Health anxiety specific interests include illness anxiety disorder, somatic symptom disorder, sensorimotor OCD, as well as somatic/health/death specific phobias (e.g., emetophobia). Over half of Dr. Berntson’s practice is devoted to the assessment and treatment of health anxiety, and the remaining to a broad range of obsessive-compulsive and anxiety related disorders.
Dr. Berntson is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (#2726) and the College of Alberta Psychologists (#5342). She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Dr. Berntson has provided evidence-based psychological services to adults in various hospitals and private clinics across Canada and the United States.
