I just completed a post-doctoral program working at a group practice where roughly 75% of patients present with OCD or an OCD related disorder. During the postdoc, I have worked with at least 20 individuals with OCD, OCPD, or a Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior. I am remaining at the same practice and expect to see a similar caseload moving forward.

As OCD can often be comorbid with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders, I have experience working with them. During the case conceptualization phase, I prioritize the patient’s quality of life and collaborate with patients on a treatment plan that begins with treating the most life-interfering symptoms that the patient is willing to work on. Typically, OCD symptoms meet that criteria and are prioritized.

I completed an externship year and a post-doctoral year at the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, a practice specializing in OCD treatment, where I received supervision from a senior provider in the field. I have been working with OCD patients for 5 years. My dissertation also explored treatment enhancements for individuals with purely mental compulsions.
