Narrative of Services:

Over 50% of Dr. Brauer’s practice focuses on evidence-based treatment of obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. Through the Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders Clinic, treatment is offered in weekly and intensive formats, within individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client. Areas of specialization include exposure and response prevention for severe obsessive-compulsive disorder and habit reversal training for trichotillomania and excoriation.

Training Description:

Dr. Brauer specializes in novel applications of evidence-based approaches to obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. She received her extensive training through the University of South Florida at the Rothman Center for Neuropsychiatry, providing exposure and response prevention to children and adults obsessive-compulsive disorders, as well as habit reversal training to children and adults with trichotillomania and excoriation. She has been in independent practice since 2013, and provides training to psychology and psychiatry trainees in evidence-based approaches to obsessive-compulsive and related disorders.
